Holding my breath when you walk in through the door,
loving how you look and struggling to pick up my jaww from the floor,
Loving everything about you,
Cause of you, I started seeing life in love’s different hues.
Yet, now I feel empty, I feel cheated,
My plans and my dreams, in the fight for your love, already defeated,
Pray tell me why,
You never saw a future of us, just you and I.
I love you too much to even ask you the reason,
For I will be forgotten by the next season,
But for me you shall remain an ethereal dream,
Yet the reality of losing you has become a nightmare where I can’t even scream.
I think of you when I am alone,
Over a 100 times today, to call you, I have picked up the phone,
Yet I know now that you wish not to be with me,
A truth I can painfully see.
If we ever meet again, I shall not be the same,
To win your heart was my goal, ’twas not a game,
My only wish was to wake up next to you till the day I die,
Yet, Now here I am , saying goodbye.
I have loved you and I shall always do,
Yet you dont feel the same that is also true,
Whomever you love, I hope he loves you as much as I do,
To my Sunshine, I bid you a tearful adieu.
