Jacaranda
by Norma Martiri
September blooms of purple hues,
adorn the city street.
And in bright splendour praises Spring,
where limbs and feathers meet.
Amid soft purple hues I lay,
to rest my weary head.
In fantasies drifting away,
Upon a sprinkled spread.
