Into the desert of smoke we sway
Giving every breath a minute to stay
Our hands pick up and leave the sync of the mouth
To release the puffs of smoke that’s naïve
A wave in the slightest, a lifetime of benefits
Easy to fall, but hard to come out of this habit.
Making a blurred world
Sews the pleasure within
Then why seek for pleasure when our world is clear.
Friends unlike foes make a tolerant face
Death will climb, if they knew, nothing could stop them from Life’s race.
Voice of history needs a standstill
When minds thumb up and say “Shall We??”
We know we ought to say no to this Shallow Valley.
