Slag
by Mark Base
Yesterday morning I woke up late,
Lying in your bed, God, what a state.
Too many drinks the night before;
Stumbling out through your front door –
I had fun, hope you had fun, too.
I had to work and you were dead;
Too many vodkas go to your head.
Quickly got dressed and left your house,
Quieter than a little rat –
You don’t know where I’ve been tonight.
Truth is I like to be this free –
I’m into promiscuity;
No one can ever collar me,
But open your eyes and you will see
I might just might spend one more night with you.
One more night with you,
Yeah, that’ll do
For me.
Falling in love is just a dream –
I really love it with whipped cream;
You’ve got good taste, I like your smell –
We’re going down and down and down
Into the deepest depths of Heaven.
Down and down into the deepest,
Down and down into the deepest,
Down into the deepest depths of Heaven.
I could spend one more night with you;
Maybe a week, a month, or two…
