In English, edited by Fledermaus, I actually think that my rendition of this “verse” into English is way better than the original piece of garbage.
What is happiness?
It is in your eyes,
in your smile
and in the touch of your hands…
Resentment, pain and fear go away
when you are near.
Do you hear
the heartbeat
in rhyme with yours?
Even if you are far away now…
Let there be hundreds of kilometers between us,
sleepless nights and unnecessary lines…
And the eternity of unanswered questions…
But there is happiness!
It is in you alone
I love so much,
as only children love…
And I thank my fate
That made me happiest being in the world…
And there is happiness!
It is in you…

Уходят прочь
