you are there moon

you are there moon;
I thought you were not
and I went to sleep
and I sighed: “She will not come, not tonight;
she has some other lover”;
and I went to sleep
and then much later now I wake up
and you’ve come, out there
and your light full within my room
and your fingers on every cell of my being
